Conwy Castle comes into view as you approach Conwy. It is an amazing piece of architecture. The town is built around the castle, and beaches can be viewed from many vantage points around the walls.

This is where the town’s lifeboat is kept. We were shown around the lifeboat and heard the stories of the how the lifeboat was acquired, and some of the stories from the lifeboat crew.

Quite a sight to see and a nice natural park at the viewing site.
A visit to the Yorkshire Air Museum is a real treat. It is situated on an old airfield and the static displays are great. An added attraction is the sound of incoming planes. The day we visited, the dark clouds overhead seemed to make the visit more special
