Situated between the mountains and the sea along the Bay of Angels on the French Riviera, Nice is a much-loved seaside resort. Its numerous museums, its national theatre, opera and concert halls make Nice an important cultural centre. But that’s not all! A romantic stroll under the palms on the Promenade des Anglais, some shopping in the city’s high-end shops, and a visit to the flower market and the Old Town’s palaces… Who could ask for more from a vacation? See the coast differently as you soak up the glamour on your way to Corsica, Marseille or St. Tropez aboard an elegant cruise ship.

While on the French Riviera, we stopped to visit a perfume factory (Fragonard) between Nice and Monaco. The scenery was breathtaking, old buildings surrounded us. We felt like we were in another world... another time. From the parking lot, this structure was up on a hill/cliff overlooking us.

While on vacation in Nice, France, we visited the hilltop village of Eze, which is only a short bus ride from Nice. This photograph was taken from the tropical gardens atop the hill. The views of the coastline and hills behind are spectacular. You could spend all day just admiring the scenery. Although Eze can get very busy with tourists, it is a village not to be missed.
