As I stand at Piazzale Michelangelo enjoying the panoramic view of Florence, my gaze stops at Ponte Vecchio. I now have the urge to be one of the many people to cross Ponte Vecchio while window-shopping for some gold jewelry.

We dropped off at Verbania, on the coast of Lago Maggiore. We then had a lazy day, travelling by ferry to reach the little lake town. To our wonder, we were the only ones who got this beautiful sunny view of freshly fallen morning snow on the Alps.

The moment I set foot in Piazza San Marco, I fell in love with Venice. I loved the architecture, the sounds and the people. We arrived early in the morning so it was very quiet and peaceful. I could sit there for hours and watch the world go by! I definitely need to return one day.
