It was located beside the slow flowing waters of Mincio River, under a canopy of trees, which only enhanced the delicious lunch we had, including their specialty of pumpkin tortellini

We dropped off at Verbania, on the coast of Lago Maggiore. We then had a lazy day, travelling by ferry to reach the little lake town. To our wonder, we were the only ones who got this beautiful sunny view of freshly fallen morning snow on the Alps.
