Check out Saumur on your tour of the Loire Valley. The Caves of Louis De Grenelle is an awesome tour. It is a street system totally underground where they process the wine. Try the Brut and Red sparkling’s they are famous for and take some home! http://www.caves-de-grenelle.fr/new/en/htm/. When you are finished there take a drive into the center of town and check out the castle of Saumur and the original Triple Sec factory - Combier.

While on the French Riviera, we stopped to visit a perfume factory (Fragonard) between Nice and Monaco. The scenery was breathtaking, old buildings surrounded us. We felt like we were in another world... another time. From the parking lot, this structure was up on a hill/cliff overlooking us.

While on vacation in Nice, France, we visited the hilltop village of Eze, which is only a short bus ride from Nice. This photograph was taken from the tropical gardens atop the hill. The views of the coastline and hills behind are spectacular. You could spend all day just admiring the scenery. Although Eze can get very busy with tourists, it is a village not to be missed.
