Eden on the Mexican Costa Dorada

The seaside resort of Ixtapa bathes its undulating coast in the turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean and stands against the backdrop of luxurious green hills, the foothills of the Sierra Madre del Sur. Ixtapa is located in the State of Guerrero, in southwestern Mexico. The faraway mountains of the Sierra Madre stand out against the Mexican sky, and the Bahía de La Puerta, with its archipelago, stretches out before the sandy beaches and winding creeks that run along the tropical city of Ixtapa. Cacti, banana trees and palm trees add a lovely touch of emerald to the resort.
