Two types of breakfast are usually available. Buffet breakfasts are very generous and provide a greater selection of food items. They allow you to eat the food you like in the quantity you want. They represent great added value and are important to consider when choosing accommodation. Some hotels still serve breakfast in your room. This is usually a continental breakfast. Meals are either sit-down or buffet.
CONTINENTAL breakfast includes coffee or tea or hot chocolate, croissant, bread, butter, jam and often orange juice.
COLD BREAKFAST includes coffee or tea or hot chocolate, orange juice, bread, croissant, often cereal and cheese and/or ham, and sometimes yogurt and/or fresh fruit, while a HOT BREAKFAST includes the above as well as eggs, bacon and sausage, depending on the country or hotel.
