You may check in online between 24 hours and 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.
Online check in is available to passengers who:
  • Depart from most Canadian, U.S. cities or select International airports;
  • Have printed their electronic ticket; click here to generate it.
  • Have a valid passport;
    Passengers are responsible for having all required passport, visa or other travel documents that meet the entry & exit requirements of any country visited. Consult and for more information.
    Any traveller without the required documentation may be denied boarding or entry into the country of destination.
  • Are travelling on a flight operated by Air Transat. Flights operated under Code Share by our other carrier partners are not eligible.
Restrictions: Online check in is not available:
  • For flights operating from Port au Prince (Haiti);
  • For passengers departing Rome (Italy), who are under 18 years of age and travelling alone;
  • For travellers who require personalized service such as Unaccompanied Minors.
These passengers should proceed to the airport for check-in.

Online Check-in

Save time at the airport and check in online!

  • When? Between 24 and 2 hours prior to departure.
  • How? Passengers will need their flight confirmation/e-ticket and passport information. At the airport, proceed to our baggage drop-off counter (passengers must be present in order to check in baggage).
  • Eligibility: Please refer to our Eligibility Requirements and Restrictions on the left.

Pop-up blockers must be turned off in order to view and print your boarding pass. If you are unable to print your boarding pass, an agent will be pleased to assist you at the airport.
Dangerous goods
Passengers are permitted to bring liquids, gels and aerosols through airport security screening checkpoints provided that the items are packaged in containers with a capacity of 100 ml / 100 grams (3.4 oz) or less, and that the containers fit comfortably in one clear, closed and resealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than 1 litre (1 quart). One bag per passenger is permitted.
For safety reasons, passengers are required to advise us at the airport if they are carrying any potentially hazardous materials or restricted articles in checked or carry-on baggage.

  • Camping stoves and fuel containers;

  • Mobility devices with non spillable batteries (spillable not permitted);

  • Ammunition and/or firearms (must be declared at check-in);
  • Spare lithium batteries;
  • Safety matches;
  • Paint and paint thinners;
  • Pressurized containers;
  • Appliances such as barbeques, lawn mowers;
  • Cordless hair appliances (curling iron etc.)
